Student Registration & Liability Waiver

I understand that safe and responsible firearms handling is essential. I agree to comply with all safety rules, range rules, policies, and instructions provided by AAA Training, LLC, the instructor, and any host range. Failure to comply with safety requirements may result in my immediate removal from training activities or the premises without refund.

1. Assumption of Risk

   I understand and acknowledge that firearms training, live-fire exercises, and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to serious bodily injury, death, emotional distress, property damage, hearing damage, and other foreseeable or unforeseeable hazards. I voluntarily assume all such risks and participate at my own risk.

2. Release of Liability

   To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and discharge AAA Training, LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, host ranges, and property owners ("Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from or related to my participation in training activities, including claims arising from ordinary negligence.

3. Indemnification

   I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, actions, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from my actions, conduct, negligence, or participation in training activities, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of a Released Party.

4. Firearms Safety

   I agree to follow all firearms safety rules, range commands, and instructor directions at all times. I understand that unsafe behavior may result in immediate dismissal from training without refund and may result in removal from the range facility.

5. Eligibility to Participate

   I represent and warrant that I am legally permitted to possess, own, transport, and use firearms and ammunition under all applicable federal, state, and local laws. I further affirm that I am not prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition due to any criminal conviction, protective order, restraining order, court order, mental health adjudication, or any other legal disability, unless my firearm rights have been fully restored as permitted by law.

   I understand that AAA Training, LLC reserves the right to deny participation or remove any individual from training if the instructor reasonably believes the individual is not legally eligible to possess firearms or otherwise presents a safety concern.

6. Prohibited Ammunition

   I understand that tracer, incendiary, armor-piercing, explosive, or other ammunition prohibited by the instructor or host range is not permitted. I agree not to possess or use prohibited ammunition during any training activity.

7. Medical Authorization and Disclosure

   In the event of illness, injury, or emergency, I authorize AAA Training, LLC and its representatives to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf when deemed necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of such treatment.

   Due to potential risks associated with lead exposure, noise, concussion, and other hazards inherent to firearms training, I acknowledge that I may not participate in live-fire activities if I am pregnant or believe I may be pregnant. I agree to notify the instructor prior to participating in any live-fire activity if I am pregnant or believe I may be pregnant.

8. Photography and Media Release

   I grant permission to AAA Training, LLC to photograph, record, and use my image, likeness, voice, or appearance in photographs, videos, or other media for educational, promotional, marketing, or business purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.

9. Governing Law

   This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Severability

    If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
