AAA Training understands that schedules and circumstances can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to provide clear expectations regarding course reservations, cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and participation requirements.
Course Reservations
Submission of a registration request, booking inquiry, or payment does not guarantee enrollment until confirmed by AAA Training.
Certain courses may have limited seating, range capacity restrictions, equipment requirements, or minimum enrollment thresholds.
Student Cancellations
Students who are unable to attend a scheduled course are encouraged to provide as much notice as possible.
More Than 48 Hours Before Class
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled course may generally:
- receive a full refund, or
- request transfer to a future course date, subject to availability.
Within 48 Hours of Class
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled course may:
- be subject to partial refund limitations,
- incur rescheduling fees,
- or receive course credit at the discretion of AAA Training.
Same-Day Cancellations / No-Shows
Students who fail to appear for a scheduled course without notice may forfeit all course fees or deposits.
Exceptions may be considered for emergencies or extraordinary circumstances at the discretion of AAA Training.
Instructor or Range Cancellations
AAA Training reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule courses due to:
- severe weather,
- range closures,
- safety concerns,
- insufficient enrollment,
- instructor illness or emergency,
- equipment failures,
- or other operational circumstances beyond reasonable control.
If AAA Training cancels a course, students will generally be offered:
- a full refund, or
- transfer to a future available course.
Safety and Conduct Removals
AAA Training reserves the right to deny participation or remove any student from training without refund if the student:
- violates safety rules,
- behaves recklessly or irresponsibly,
- appears impaired by drugs or alcohol,
- engages in threatening, abusive, or disruptive conduct,
- or otherwise creates a safety concern.
Firearms safety is the highest priority during all instruction.
Required Waivers and Documentation
Participation in live-fire or in-person training may require signed liability waivers, safety acknowledgments, or other documentation prior to participation.
Failure or refusal to complete required documentation may result in denial of participation without refund.
Students are responsible for reviewing all course requirements prior to attendance.
Medical and Range Restrictions
For safety reasons, pregnant participants are not permitted on live-fire ranges. Students who are pregnant or may be pregnant should contact AAA Training before booking or attending so alternatives or rescheduling can be discussed.
If a student cannot participate in a live-fire portion because of this restriction, refunds, transfers, or rescheduling options will be handled according to this policy and at the discretion of AAA Training.
Legal Eligibility
Students are responsible for ensuring they are legally eligible to possess and handle firearms under applicable federal, state, and local laws.
AAA Training reserves the right to refuse service where legal eligibility or safety concerns exist.
Weather Policy
Outdoor training may continue in light rain or normal seasonal conditions where safe and practical.
Courses may be delayed, modified, rescheduled, or canceled in the event of unsafe weather conditions including but not limited to:
- lightning,
- severe storms,
- flooding,
- extreme wind,
- or hazardous range conditions.
Safety determinations are made solely at the discretion of AAA Training and range personnel.
